My Shepherd Ministry began with a simple call to serve and walk alongside the forgotten communities of Eastern Uganda.
On our first visit to Kagumba Village in Kamuli District, we were met with warmth, faith, and the quiet strength of people facing daily hardship. Children studied without desks or even walls. Women carried heavy loads — walking long distances for water, raising families with limited resources, and holding onto dreams that stretched far beyond their circumstances.
In that moment, we knew we couldn’t walk away. We were called to be shepherds to guide, to support, and to help build something better.
Rooted in faith and committed to action, My Shepherd Ministry was born. Though we are new, our focus is clear: to lay strong foundations for lasting change. We do this by building schools, drilling wells, planting gardens, supporting families, and raising the next generation of leaders.
We believe no child should learn on a dusty floor. No mother should have to choose between feeding her children and sending them to school. Clean water, education, faith, and dignity these should not be out of reach.
Our story is only beginning, but every partnership, every prayer, and every act of kindness brings us closer to a future where communities like Kagumba no longer stand alone. We invite you to be part of that future. Together, we can be the shepherds they need.
To empower and uplift underprivileged communities, ensuring access to education, clean water, and sustainable livelihoods, while sharing the message of faith and hope.
A future where:
