Women & Girl Empowerment

Supporting Women & Girls

In many communities across Eastern Uganda, women and girls carry the heaviest burdens yet have the fewest opportunities. Our Women & Girl Empowerment Program is built to change that. We listen to local voices and respond with practical, faith-centered support that promotes dignity, independence, and hope. From menstrual hygiene education to economic empowerment, our aim is to ensure every girl and woman can rise without limits.

We equip girls with the knowledge and supplies they need to manage their periods with confidence and stay in school. Many drop out simply because they lack sanitary pads or a safe space to learn about their bodies. We change that by providing hygiene kits, holding open conversations, and working with schools and families to remove shame and stigma.

Every girl deserves the freedom to pursue her education every day of the month. At the same time, we walk alongside women as they grow small businesses, learn leadership skills, and build stronger families. Through training in farming, savings groups, and vocational support, women gain not just income but agency. They begin to dream again, to lead, and to lift others. When a woman thrives, her family and community thrive too. That’s the heart of this program.

Help Her Stay in School. Help Her Rise.

Girls in Eastern Uganda are missing school every month due to lack of menstrual hygiene support. Women are eager to work but lack tools and training. You can help change this. Support dignity, education, and independence for the women and girls who hold their communities together.
