Education & Child Empowerment

Breaking Barriers to Education Through Faith and Action

My Shepherd Ministry, we believe that access to education is a child’s strongest path out of poverty. In Eastern Uganda, many children face immense barriers just to attend school—whether it’s the inability to afford fees, the lack of basic supplies, or the absence of safe classrooms. Our Education & Child Empowerment Program was created to directly respond to these needs. We provide school sponsorships that cover tuition, uniforms, and essential learning materials for vulnerable children who would otherwise be left behind.

Our approach goes beyond just access. We support schools with infrastructure improvements, such as constructing permanent classroom blocks and supplying desks and teaching resources. By working closely with local educators and parents, we ensure that the learning environment is both safe and dignified. Children who once sat on dusty floors now learn in structured spaces designed to help them focus, grow, and dream beyond their circumstances.

Mentorship is also central to this program. Through regular sessions grounded in Christian values, we guide children not just academically but personally and spiritually. We aim to raise confident, compassionate, and resilient young people who will one day lead their communities. Every child deserves the chance to learn and thrive—and through this program, we make that possible, one child at a time.

Sponsor a Child. Change a Future.

Hundreds of children in Eastern Uganda are eager to learn—but lack the basics to attend school. Your support can provide school fees, uniforms, and materials for a child in need. Give them the tools to succeed and the confidence to dream bigger.
